A major impact involving a police car locked down Wakefield Road in Moldgreen this afternoon (Fri), leaving a person hospitalized with serious injuries.
The accident caused traffic chaos in Huddersfield on Christmas Eve. One man told Yorkshire Live that he had covered a maximum of 50 meters in ten minutes.
It caused delays between Leeds Road in Huddersfield city center and Moldgreen.

West Yorkshire Police later confirmed the accident happened after a police car with armed officers drove into a Nissan Micra.
The driver of the Micra was hospitalized with a suspected serious injury.
