Photos from the crime scene also reveal that Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue also participated in the incident.
The van was driven by a technician from the body repair company Dent999.
“Our driver is very upset to say the least,” said Dent999 owner Karl Pover.
The van was left “in a mess”, according to Mr Pover
“It was his first week at work, that was his first real day.
“It’s a pretty specialized unit, this van. There aren’t many people with the equipment that can do what we’re doing.
“It has a massive impact on the boy’s business and psychological well-being.”
Karl, who lives in the Rossendale Valley, added that the van was only one of four in his company’s fleet – making the loss “massive”.
“The van is in an absolute mess,” said the 38-year-old.
“We’re just a small company. What we do is pretty unique, so it’s an important aspect of our business [affected] – we only use experienced technicians. “
