Memphis, Tenn. – A 4-year-old boy was shot dead in Memphis Saturday night, Memphis police said.
MPD said the boy was in a car with several adults when a shot was fired from the car that hit and killed the child.
Offers are on site @ Le Bonheur. A child, male, around 4 years old, arrived in a private vehicle with a gunshot wound; he was later pronounced dead. Preliminary information: The child was in a car with several adult men when the child was shot from the car.

Police said the child was taken to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in a private vehicle, but was soon pronounced dead at the hospital.
FOX13 has learned that Memphis police are actively investigating a scene in Frayser, North Lexington Circle related to the boy’s death.
