A woman with the username kirstennp_ shared a brilliant hack that could save you a lot of time in the morning.

In the evening she puts a large bath towel across the windshield and leaves it there.
The mirror reports that when temperatures drop overnight, the towel absorbs water and is more likely to freeze than the windshield.

She said, “If you put a towel on your windshield to keep it from freezing overnight.
“It’s frozen itself.”
Now is the time to say goodbye to scraping ice in gloves, boiling the kettle for warm water, or holding on to the ice-cold bottle of antifreeze.
Since its release, the video has garnered more than 252,000 likes and nearly 2,000 comments from people praising the incredible hack.
One person said, “I didn’t think this would work. Saved me 20 minutes this morning to thaw mine.”
Another added, “This is awesome.”
A third wrote: “Buuuuuuuut … it worked, good job I would say!”
To make sure the towel stays in place and doesn’t blow away, some people suggested closing each end of the towel in the car doors.
And a bystander said she was lucky it didn’t freeze to the windshield after it had happened to them.
