Motorpoint will rebuild an LSH Auto UK Mercedes-Benz dealer near the Etihad football stadium in Manchester City to expand its network of used car supermarkets to Manchester.
Last month, the UK’s largest independent used car retail group announced plans to triple sales to nearly £ 2 billion in a “medium term” strategy that will include the opening of 12 new sales and collection points in addition to the 14 recently expanded location would include network.
Today (July 14th) it was announced that the doors to a new two and a half acre site on Ashton Old Road in Manchester will open on October 1st.
The former franchise location of LSH Auto UK Mercedes Benz will cover areas such as customer service, management, sales and vehicle preparation and create 30 new jobs.
The office is run by Jordan Dean, retail manager for the Northwest.
Dean said, “We are very excited to bring the Motorpoint brand to Manchester this October and look forward to building on our existing customer base in the city and enabling other car buyers to share our award-winning combination of choice, value, service and quality personally.”
Motorpoint said its new Manchester plant would have capacity for 200 low-mileage vehicles, nearly new cars and light trucks from 30 different manufacturers, all under four years old and with less than 30,000 miles.
