Just Eat creates 1,500 jobs with major investments in the northeast
More than 1,500 jobs will be created as part of a £ 100 million investment by snack giant Just Eat in Sunderland.
The grocery company announced plans to open a new customer service base in Rainton House, Houghton-le-Spring, after “relocating” overseas contact center posts.

The company plans to invest £ 100 million in the area over the next five years, with employees working partly from home and partly from the Rainton Bridge contact center.
UK managing director Andrew Kenny said the company would pay the extra cost of hiring staff in-house as it would allow Just Eat to provide better service.
