Six year old child hit by car in Tadworth along the A217 Brighton Road

A six year old child is hospitalized in Tadworth after a car accident.

Officers were called shortly after 1:39 p.m. on Saturday afternoon (November 13) after a collision between a car and a child was reported on the A217, Brighton Road in Tadworth.

The road was closed to the north between Tadworth Roundabout and Shelvers Way at 2 p.m. but has since reopened.

The child involved in the collision was taken to St. George’s Hospital in London.

Surrey Police are calling on anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage to contact them and assist the officers in their investigation.

A police statement said: “If you have any information that could help, please contact us using the incident / crime reference number PR / P21245653 via web chat on our website, online or by calling 101.
