A trapped motorist was freed from his overturned car along the A390 by firefighters.
Fire and police were called to Sand Hill in Gunnislake at around 6:50 p.m. on November 13 after a car was reportedly run over.
The police confirmed that the incident involved only one vehicle.

The road has been closed since then, and rescue workers are on site.
A rescue operation was carried out by Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service to safely remove the driver from the vehicle.

A spokesman for the Devon and Cornwall Police Department said: “The driver is now out of the vehicle and under investigation.
“The road remains completely closed.”
