Police seized a suspected stolen car in Dartford after discovering that the driver’s fingerprints did not match those of the registered owner.
At 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 16, officials ran over a black Ford Mondeo on Crossways Boulevard for driving with no lights.
Crime scene checks revealed the registered owner lived in Berkshire and a fingerprint scan of the driver confirmed he was not the registered owner.
A small amount of cannabis was also confiscated and he was arrested on suspicion of stealing a motor vehicle, possession of a class B drug, and driving without a license or insurance.
The 23-year-old from Greenhithe has since been released while the investigation, which includes the search for the owner of the car, continues.
