Back in 2015, a customer in the Middle East ordered five Mulsanne Grand Limousines, which are custom-made by Bentley. The order was carried out and the vehicles shipped to the United Arab Emirates. But they were never put into operation or even registered. So now they are back with Bentley or at least with his dealer in the United Arab Emirates, Bentley Emirates, who are offering them for sale to other customers.
“Bentley is offering its customers one last opportunity to purchase a piece of automotive history – one of the most unique and outstanding models from the British brand, Mulliner’s Mulsanne Grand Sedan,” said the company’s announcement.
“Mulliner’s Mulsanne Grand Sedan is the ultimate demonstration of the exceptional skills and abilities of Bentley’s in-house customization. After production of the Mulsanne ceased last year, these models offer a unique opportunity for customers to acquire an iconic piece of modern Bentley history.
“The cars for sale each have their own unique identities and specifications for all tastes:
- Exterior color Silver Frost over Moroccan Blue, paired with Imperial Blue and Linen interior, supplemented with Burr Walnut veneer
- Damson over Black Crystal finish, complemented by Damson and Twine leather and Dark Stained Burr Walnut veneer
- Onyx over Candy Red on the outside, Hotspur and Camel on the inside with Olive Ash veneer
- Rubino Red over Light Gazelle body with an interior of Fireglow and Twine leather paired with Burr Walnut veneer
- A monochrome exterior in Black Sapphire with an interior in Imperial Blue and Camel contrasted by Dark Stained Burr Walnut veneer. “
Bentley adds that the cars were built about “the need for four passenger seats with the same level of comfort. Inspired by private luxury aviation, your arrangement includes two rear-facing seats that allow passengers to chat face-to-face.
“To underline the truly luxurious travel experience, there is a bottle cooler with crystal grooves between the forward facing seats and a drinks cabinet with bespoke crystal glasses between the rearward facing seats.
“Veneered, foldable picnic tables allow residents to work comfortably on the go, with iPad docking and charging stations. Bentley’s craftsmanship is further evidenced by the three handcrafted dials that show the outside temperature as well as the UK and local time.
“The best materials have been used everywhere, leveraging Bentley’s world-famous skills with leather and wood, with the higher roof and extra length providing a real feeling of space to relax in. Mulliner’s Mulsanne Grand Limousine is truly the ultimate place to work or relax while on the move. “
