Boy, two, rushed to the hospital after being hit by a police car in the 20 mph zone

A TODDLER was hospitalized after being hit by a police car on a residential street.

The crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. yesterday in Pen-y-Cae, Wrexham.

An ambulance accompanied the incident and took the child to a hospital.

North Wales Police Department PC Kelly Ellis said, “We appeal to anyone who was in the area or who might have seen the collision that occurred around 3:30 pm to contact us.

“We are asking people to avoid the area for the time being while the local officials conduct an investigation.

“Witnesses or anyone else with information or dashcam footage that could assist the investigation are asked to contact North Wales Police on 101, citing incident Z148033.”
