Police are looking for witnesses and dashcam footage following a collision in Choppington, Northumberland, in which a 28-year-old man was seriously injured.
At around 10.30 a.m. on Tuesday, the officers received a message that a black Renault Clio was driving on the A1068 at Scotland Gate and had collided with a lamp post.

Rescue workers rushed to the scene of the accident and the 28-year-old lone driver of the vehicle was seriously injured and taken to hospital.
He remains stable.
An investigation into the circumstances of the collision is underway and the officers are now asking anyone with information or dashcam footage from the area to contact you.
