LYNNWOOD, Washington – Washington State Patrol Troopers locked I-5 north in Lynnwood shortly after gunfire hit a car.
It happened around 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
The victim told soldiers he was driving a white Chrysler 300 north on I-5 near 44th Avenue when he realized he was being chased by a white 2012 or newer Honda Accord.
The Honda driver changed lanes and passed the injured man on the right. When the Honda stopped next to the victim, gunfire raged from the driver’s side and hit the victim’s Chrysler five times.
The victim was not injured.
The northbound lanes were completely closed for about 15 minutes while investigators searched for evidence.
