A routine police stop of a car resulted in officers finding balaclavas and guns in the vehicle.
Cambridgeshire Police were on patrol in Peterborough on Thursday (January 13) when officers stopped a car for speeding in the area.
However, when the car was checked, clothing and weapons that had been used to commit violent crimes were found.

Items found include a police baton and three black and gray balaclavas with eye and nose holes.
Police also said the driver of the vehicle later tested positive for drugs, meaning he should not have been driving.
A police spokesman said on Friday: “We got more than we bargained for yesterday when we stopped a speeding car in Peterborough.
