Cyclists approached by car in front of Exeter Central Station

A cyclist was hit by a car near Exeter Central Station this evening (June 7th).

Devon and Cornwall Police officers and the ambulance are currently on site in Queen Street, where the road remains partially closed, following the incident.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman said: “Cyclists versus cars.

” Ambulances were the first to arrive and reported it to us [police].

“Injuries are not considered life threatening or life changing.

” It happened outside Exeter Central Station. ”

In an update at 6:53 p.m., Inrix Road Traffic and Monitoring Service reported: ” Queen Street partially closed, slow traffic due to an accident, involved a car and a bicycle near Exeter Central Station. ”
