A driver plowed a stolen car through the living room of a house in Anfield where there were people.

Emergency services rushed to Attwood Street, Anfield, around 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 16, to receive reports of a car accident in a home.

When the rescue workers arrived, they first found a black Audi A5 trunk in a row house on the street.

Police have determined that the car was stolen in a break-in in Old Swan on Wednesday, September 8, and the house is believed to have been deliberately attacked.

A man in a baseball cap and dark clothing was seen getting out of the car and running onto Blessington Road.

People were on the property when the car crashed, according to Merseyside Fire and Rescue, who were present along with Merseyside Police Department.

Nobody is said to have been injured in the incident.

They also called in a structural engineer to visit the crime scene.

Chief Inspector Steve Hardy said, “We believe the car was driven into the house on purpose and we ask anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information that may help us in our investigation to come forward.
