An elderly woman has been hospitalized in a downtown car accident.

A Suffolk Police spokesman said: “The police were called at 11.35 am about an accident involving a car and a pedestrian.

“An elderly lady was injured and taken to the hospital as a precaution. This happened in the Smallgate area of ​​Beccles.

“Road closure opened at 12.47 p.m.”

An East of England Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We were called at 11:28 am with reports of a collision on Market Street in Beccles.
