Firefighters rescue trapped baby in car at Princes Quay Shopping Center

Firefighters rescued a baby trapped in a car at Princes Quay Shopping Center on Saturday afternoon.

The 12-month-old was locked in the car and could not be released by security, who had to call the Humberside Fire and Rescue Service.

With the help of the fire brigade, the security forces managed to get into the car and free the child.

Both mother and baby should be fine after a traumatic incident.

In an incident that is the worst nightmare for any parent, the baby was trapped in the vehicle yesterday afternoon and the fire department was on site at 2:30 p.m.

The crews were able to open the rear passenger door to allow security personnel to enter the car to rescue the frightened toddler.

The Humberside Fire and Rescue Service log said, “12 month old baby locked in the car.

“The fire department opened the rear passenger door so that the security guard could enter the car and release the handbrake.”
