A new tech store has opened in Nottingham, claiming to be the “one stop shop for fitting your car and home”.
According to the developers, the addition of the Car Audio Center to the Nottingham Hi-Fi on Alfreton Road will make Radford the city’s premier tech destination.
Earlier this summer, the company that customizes in-car entertainment devices announced plans to move its store on Mansfield Road to larger premises on Alfreton Road, next to Superfi Smart Homes.
The developers and owners, Inphase International, then decided that the two stores would be hooked up to Nottingham Hi-Fi to create a single large store that would be the “one stop shop for your car and home outfitting” would.
It will sell smart home solutions, car audio equipment and home theater technology in one shop.

Owners said the opening is at the end of many months of work and challenges many retailers have faced during the pandemic.
Superfi was previously in the city’s market square before closing in February 2019.
It was then brought back by Nottingham group In Phase International, which also own the legendary Road Angel and Nottingham Hi-Fi brands.
