A young girl was rushed to hospital in Bolton after a car accident.
The crash happened last night (Wednesday) just before 7 p.m. on Chorley Old Road near The Tempest Arms pub.
According to the police, a pedestrian – a teenage girl – was hit by a car at the scene.
She was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

Your injuries are not considered life changing or life threatening. No arrests were made.
In a statement, a GMP spokesman said: “Police were called to Chorley Old Road shortly before 7pm after reports of a pedestrian were hit by a car.
“The ambulance service was present, after inquiries there were no arrests.
“A young girl was taken to hospital as a precaution – her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or changing.”
