Haberdashers’ School for Girls in Elstree targeted in car theft and police appeal for information

A car was stolen outside a private girls school in Elstree earlier this month. Police have released a picture of a man they would like to speak to as part of their enquiries.

The incident took place between 7pm and 7.45pm on Friday, March 4. A black Lexus with a registration plate ending in NSS was stolen from Haberdashers’ School for Girls in Aldenham Road.

Hertfordshire Police have released the picture of the man as part of their appeal today. They are asking anyone with any information to contact them.

PC Alexander Hilsenrath said: “We have carried out extensive inquiries following the theft of this car and would now like to speak to the man pictured as we believe he may have information that can assist us with our enquiries.

“Although he is wearing a face mask his hoodie is quite distinctive so someone may recognize him.”
