A Scottish road was closed by the police after a “serious” accident.
Rescue workers rushed to the incident on the A970 near Cunningsburgh in the Shetland Islands, with the route blocked while it was being processed.
The crash affects two vehicles and was described by the police as serious.
The rescue service and the fire brigade were also called to the scene.

Three fire extinguishers are present, two from Lerwick and one from Sandwick.
A spokeswoman for the fire department confirmed that they used cutting tools to free the injured from the vehicles.

Detours have been set up and drivers have been told to avoid the area.
It is currently not known whether people have been injured.
A statement by the Scottish Police said: “The officers are currently involved in a serious road accident on the A970 near Cunningsburgh Shetland that was reported to police at 3pm and that involved two cars.
“The road is currently closed and there are diversions.”
