A car wash for charities in Inverness was a “soap” hit.
The Mikeysline car wash and the gift of two bicycles to two young people were meant to show everyone that “it’s okay to be wrong”.
Valeters SR Reflection organizer Robert Murray thanked everyone who supported the fundraising day last Saturday and announced the total was £ 1,133.50.

Mr. Murray also gave away two bikes to children who were nominated as the Most Deserved Gift.
Mr Murray said, “I want to thank everyone who came in on Saturday for the car wash
“The charity was mikeysline, a local suicide prevention team.

“Without the generosity of our customers, we would never raise £ 1,133.50 to help many people.
“The two bikes went to Aiden Buchart and Archie Maclean, neither boy knew, so it was a nice surprise.

“Their faces pretty much said it all, both boys did amazingly well with the lockdown restrictions.
“The boys undoubtedly deserve the bikes.
