Artist Otis Frizzell and racing driver Greg Murphy just managed to paint a huge work of art with car lights that is one of a kind.
To create the artwork that was used for a car commercial, Frizzell directed Murphy to follow a pattern on the road. A long exposure camera then captured the vehicle’s red and white lights to create the huge final image, which was the size of a rugby field.
“We almost didn’t do it because it was so dark and rainy that all of my work was almost washed off the parking lot,” said Frizzell Kea Kids News reporter Eric Duarte, 12, of Mt Roskill School.
“We finished just in time and just made it.”
