Motorists have been stuck for up to THREE hours getting out of the Arndale parking lot tonight as Manchester city center is hit by a traffic collapse.
It seems that the combination of wet weather and the crowds of people visiting the Christmas markets and shopping has created some travel chaos.

“We’ve been here on the 12th floor for 2 hours and haven’t moved an inch,” one woman wrote in a complaint to the Arndale Center.
The car park is managed by Manchester City Council, but Arndale responded that assistance has been sought from Greater Manchester Police.
