After a serious accident this afternoon (June 13), all traffic on the M2 will be blocked in both directions.
The incident occurred on the eastbound carriageway between J2 for Stood and J3 for Chatham.
Long queues and delays arise in dealing with the incident.
Traffic was interrupted shortly after 4 p.m., with drivers now advised to allow extra time and take alternative routes.
