Police blocked a street in Sheffield after a car caught fire on the street.
Cookson Road in Grenoside is currently closed in both directions after officers arrived on site around 8 p.m. and blocked the road.
A dramatic video uploaded to ImJustSheff’s Instagram page shows a stranded car burning violently while worried residents watch.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that the car was hit by another vehicle before it was “gasoline bombed”.
YorkshireLive has requested a comment from the South Yorkshire Police Department.
Our transport partner Inrix reports: “Cookson Road closed in both directions due to a police incident from Wordsworth Avenue to Halliwell Crescent. The traffic gets along well.
“The road was closed at 8:00 p.m.”
