Four men were arrested after a man was attacked and hit by a car in Newham on Wednesday night.
Met police have confirmed they received a call shortly after 11 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28, to report a malfunction on Butchers Road in Canning Town.
A 50-year-old man who police believe was “attacked before a car hit him” was hospitalized with a head injury.
Police said today the victim remains in critical condition after being taken to a hospital in East London for treatment by the London Ambulance Service (LAS).

Police arrested four men on suspicion of causing serious bodily harm in the aftermath of the attacks.
The four alleged attackers remain in custody at a police station in East London while the police investigation continues.
