The eye-catching, lighted car park located on Farringdon Row will be the newest addition to Riverside Sunderland.
This follows the approval of the plans for two new offices with 200,000 m² of commercial space by the institutional investor Legal & General.
The parking lot will initially consist of 15% electric vehicles and is expected to be operated outside normal working hours to support the evening catering in the city center.
The McAlpines project will take approximately 16 months to build and incorporate related external work including remodeling a section of the Gill Park galley.
