A large state of the art car wash facility is being proposed for vacant land on North Front Street in Belleville near the Northway Restaurant.
Consultants made a presentation on the plan to the city’s Planning Advisory Committee Monday.
Paul Demczak of Bicorp Design Group told the committee a car wash would suit the area which already has several auto-related businesses located nearby. There would be room for a 30-vehicle lineup to enter the wash and room for more vehicles as well.
A staff recommendation regarding the rezoning application will come to a future meeting of the planning committee.
