A police motorcyclist was seriously injured in a car accident on a Scottish road.
Both vehicles collided tonight on the A811 Stirling Road, Balfron.
A helicopter was seen overhead as rescue workers rushed to the scene of the accident.
One social media user said, “I was there when it just happened. It didn’t look good at all as I prayed for them and their families.”
Another commented: “Passed because it hadn’t happened long ago, looked like a motorcycle and the car had a serious accident. The police had just arrived.”
One person added, “I passed it too, there were people talking to the cyclist (still under the bike) so at least they were conscious. Hopefully they are fine …”
The road was closed between Kippen Roundabout and Kirk Lane and traffic was diverted to Thornhill.
