A parking lot that was reserved for people getting their Covid puffs has now been reopened to the general public.
The New Road car park in North Walsham is returning to general use due to declining demand at the community center’s vaccination center and is expected to help more facilities reopen.
On vaccination days, 18 parking spaces are still blocked for NHS and Vaccine Center staff, and there is free parking for anyone wishing to be vaccinated.
But half of the parking lot can be used by everyone, with a refund for paying and viewing / parking.
Eric Seward, North Norfolk District Council Vice Chairman, said, “NNDC was delighted to support the launch of the Covid Immunization program in North Walsham by providing free parking in the city’s New Road public car park.
