A man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving following an accident in which a car overturned and woke a street in Orpington last night.
Police were called on Thorndon Road, St. Paul’s Cray just before midnight (June 29) following a collision between two cars.
An ambulance was on duty together with the fire brigade and took care of a man on site who was taken to the hospital.
A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drunk driving.
Local residents said they heard a loud bang as they got ready for bed and overturned a black car.
A spokesman for the London Ambulance Service said: “We were picked up yesterday (Jan.
“We sent an ambulance to treat a man on site and take him to a hospital.”
