The A4058 has now reopened after a two car accident that blocked the road in Pontypridd in both directions.
Police and ambulances were called to the scene at 1:49 p.m. Monday after an accident near Ty-Mawr Road. An ambulance and ambulance were dispatched to the scene and a patient was taken to the hospital for further treatment, a spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service confirmed.
South Wales Police reported the patient was rushed to hospital with minor injuries. During the recovery, the A4058 Hopkinstown Road was closed in both directions for around three hours.
