West Lothian police are seeking clues following an accident in Livingston that involved a car with a license plate.
The incident occurred on Wednesday at around 11:50 a.m. on Deans Road when a woman was hit by a small car with driving licenses that did not stop.

Emergency services arrived and a 28-year-old woman was brought to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment of serious but not life threatening injuries.
Sergeant Scott Kirkpatrick of the Livingston Road Policing Unit of the Scottish Police said: “Fortunately, the woman concerned has not suffered any life-threatening injuries from this accident and we appeal to the public to help identify the driver responsible.

“The road runs near an industrial park and there were learning signs on the car in question. I ask anyone who has been in the area or has information that might help with our inquiries to come forward and speak to the officers.
“I would also ask if there are other drivers with possible dashcam recordings who could help our investigation to contact the police.”
