Police have found a stolen vehicle near Blackfriars Bridge in the Greater Manchester area.
The Mercedes A200 was discovered in the corner of a parking lot on the Salford side, according to a tweet from the Greater Manchester Police Department (GMP).
The vehicle also shows wrong license plates, said the police.

“Officials found this #stolen Mercedes A200 on false license plates during an #OpCustodian patrol on artery routes in / out of Manchester,” wrote GMP in a tweet posted at 2:27 am on Saturday.

The Mercedes A200 costs over £ 23,000 while the performance AMG version can cost over £ 30,000.
Operation Custodian is a GMP police initiative that aims to fight crime and keep people safe in the evening and at night.
