A road in Grimsby was closed with a police car after a traffic accident.
At the junction of Ladysmith Road and Durban Road, a cordon was placed around the crime scene.
Motorists were asked to avoid the area while the situation was resolved.
A police vehicle and another car were involved in the accident.
The Humberside Police Department issued a statement at around 4:45 pm: “Due to an ongoing incident, there is currently a road closure at the junction of Ladysmith Road and Durban Road, Grimsby.
“We ask road users to avoid the area if possible until the blockade is lifted.”
At around 5.30 p.m. the road was opened again.
