In the middle of the night the police were called to this “abandoned” car.
And the Ford Fiesta was spotted on Biddulph’s Congleton Road at midnight on Saturday with significant damage to its front end.
The officers then put police tape around him.

A spokesman for the force said: “After reports of an abandoned car, officers were called to Congleton Road in Biddulph.
“It is reported that a black Ford Fiesta was found with damage to the front of the car and the windshield on the passenger side.
“The owner of the car has been contacted and the vehicle has been recovered.”
