The vehicle was stolen from Dunscroft on December 10th – the owner of the car was making deliveries.
The Doncaster East Neighborhood Policing Team said, “Half an hour after it was stolen and its contents emptied, the vehicle was in this condition.
“The driver somehow managed to get out of the car and run away.

“The vehicle has been recovered and is under forensic investigation, which will lead to the identification of a suspect.
“When we searched the vehicle, we found a Christmas present in the trunk that was waiting to be delivered.
“In a true Christmas spirit, we made sure that we completed the delivery to a very grateful customer on the way back to the train station.”
