Suspect named 10 kilos of cocaine found in M62 car nosedive

A suspected drug dealer was named by police today after 10 kilos of cocaine were found in a highway crash.

The Ford C-Max car was ordered to stop by Merseyside police on Tuesday.

The officers drove over the car on the M62 at noon.

The car was stopped between Junction 9 and Junction 8 of the M62 near Warrington.

And after the search, the vehicle police discovered around 10 kilos of suspicious cocaine.

The hiding place was wrapped in packages, the police say.

A Merseyside Police spokesman said: “Around noon a Ford C-Max was pulled up between Junction 9 and Junction 8 of the M62 near Warrington. A search was conducted and about 10 kilos of suspicious cocaine were found in packaged packages. And seized. ”

One man was charged in connection with the incident.

Scott Patel, 33, Oldham Road, Manchester, has been charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

Patel was on remand to appear before the Wirral Adult Investigative Court today, Wednesday April 21.
