Motorists in North Staffordshire can now fill up their cars for as little as 151.9p per liter – if they go to the right petrol station. Petrol prices have been falling from their recent peak, after Chancellor Rishi Sunak dropped fuel duty by 5p on March 23.
According to price comparison website Confused.com, the cheapest place to fill up in North Staffordshire is currently the BP garage in Blurton Road, Blurton, where the price for a liter of unleaded is 151.9p. And there are another eight petrol stations within 10 miles of Stoke-on-Trent where the price is under £1.57.
