A six-year-old boy was found wearing only pajamas on the street at 3 a.m. after allegedly leaving his home.
The child was carrying car keys and was found by a woman who said she was “sick to the pit” which could have happened to him.

Little did the boy’s parents know that their son had left the house at 3 a.m.
Nikola James was driving home from a friend’s house when she spotted the boy in Plymouth.
She said she “believes everything in life happens for a reason” when she discovered the boy after taking a different route home than she normally drives.
She said she immediately called the police, who came and picked the little boy up.
“The possibilities of what could have happened make me pissed off,” she added.
“An all too real experience of how easily tragedy can happen,” she said.
Devon and Cornwall Police announced that they had tracked the boy’s parents and took him to his nearby home, where his parents were unaware of his disappearance.
A police spokesman added that the boy was believed to be able to leave his address through the front door, but not before finding a set of car keys that he was in possession of.
The spokesman said: “The parents were in an absolute state of shock when they were informed where the boy was found.”
It is known that the boy was previously able to leave his apartment without his parents knowing and that the social welfare office had also been informed of the incident as a precaution.
