A parking lot in Reading city center reopened for more than two days after an accident.
The Broad Street Mall parking lot was closed after an “accident” on Christmas Eve and Reading City Council believed the vehicle may not be recovered until Monday.
In the meantime, however, it has been picked up again and the car park is open again.

Just after 5:30 p.m. on Boxing Day (Sunday 26 December), Reading City Council confirmed that the car park had reopened.
A spokesman said: “We are pleased to announce that the vehicle has now been successfully removed and the Broad Street Mall parking lot has now reopened.”
