A schoolboy was hit by a car in Falkirk this afternoon and taken to hospital.
The accident happened just after 3pm on King Street in Stenhousemuir town center at the junction with Hallam Road.
A number of police cars and an ambulance were sighted at the scene and police confirmed tonight that he was taken to nearby Forth Valley Royal Hospital for treatment.
The boy’s age is currently unknown. His injuries are not considered serious.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “At around 3.10pm on Friday 28 January 2022, police were called after a boy was hit by a car in King Street, Hallam Road, Stenhousemuir.
“The child was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
“No information on the injury. No further police action.”
