The tire slicer targets the car of the EWN marketing director.
A CAR belonging to a commercial director of Euro Weekly News on the Costa Blanca South was targeted in an alleged willful attack.
After chatting with a valued customer for 45 minutes, the executive returned to her car, which was parked in Dona Pepa, Quesada, around 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 27, and then noticed a flat tire.
“I went to the passenger side and that was flat too. I thought how strange it was and was utterly shocked to see that both had been slashed, it was done on purpose. “
The wrecked marketing agent’s car wasn’t the only one parked in the public parking lot. There were cars on either side, but they hadn’t been touched.
“The parking lot wasn’t full, but it was certainly not empty, and only my car with the Euro Weekly News logo on the side was targeted.”
Despite inquiries, no one had seen anything.
“I’m absolutely angry and I can’t believe anyone would do this.”
It was a difficult time for the marketing agent who has been with the company for six years and was involved in a car accident last month which meant he couldn’t work.
“It’s really annoying, times are extremely difficult for everyone at the moment without having to pay 160 euros for malicious vandals. At times like these, we should all pull ourselves together and not purposely cause harm and financial problems to one another.
“Nothing like this has ever happened to me before, and I have no doubt at all that it was on purpose,” they added.
