Touching TikTok moment Tamworth stranger gives street musician bundles of money after hearing his bad news

This is the heartwarming moment when a stranger gave a bunch of money to a street musician after hearing his bad news while performing on TikTok.

Jason Allan sang and streamed his performance live on George Street in Tamworth last Wednesday (December 15th) when he received a call from a garage about his car’s huge repair bill.

The 24-year-old had brought his Vauxhall Insignia to a “normal” MOT at a dealer in his hometown of Shrewsbury.

But instead of just paying the £ 55 fee, the street musician was told that repairs to his car would cost a whopping £ 800.

While filming himself on TikTok, he said, “I took my car to MOT and it turned out to be paying £ 800.

“A seat belt buckle that doesn’t seem to work more than 200 pounds. For a seat belt lock! I just stick them in with duct tape! “

A woman watching him says “relax”. And Jason joked, “If someone gives me £ 800 now, I’ll chill out.”

And a man who’s been watching Jason for about 10 minutes then steps up and hands the singer a wad of cash.

Busker Jason Allan was shocked when a total stranger in Tamworth gave him a wad of cash to pay his car repair bill

Jason said, “No. No. No. No no. I’m just kidding. “And runs after the man he was walking down the street. But he refused to take the money back and instead hugged him. And Jason said,” All my songs today are dedicated to this man. “

The video went viral on Jason’s TikTok account ImJasonAllan, which has 1.2 million followers and is also widespread on Instagram. The Shrewsbury singer’s “Christmas Miracle” entry was liked more than 40,000 times.

He told BirminghamLive: “My father told me on Wednesday morning that the car was going to be MOT.

“I took it to the Vauxhall dealership in Shrewbury and drove my friend’s car to Tamworth.

“I was live on TikTok when I received a call to say, ‘I’m really sorry, it didn’t pass TÜV.

“The front tire was £ 100, the rotors a minimum of £ 180 and up to £ 400.

“The buckle on the back seat was £ 200. At the end of the conversation, I thought it was £ 800.

“I was expecting something strange here and there, but the car drove absolutely well.”

He continued, “At worst I thought I expected it to cost £ 100. But I didn’t expect that amount at all.

“People were watching me and they knew I had a little bit of discomfort on my face, so I told them what had happened.

“And this man gave me a bundle of £ 20 and £ 10 – £ 100 total, and he goes away and I’ll give him the money back. The man said, “No, Merry Christmas.”

“He was my knight in shining armor.

“I felt very grateful, but also massively guilty!”

Jason, who sings “crowd-pleasers” such as songs by Ed Sheeran and Lewis Capaldi, said he had been singing since he was eight and recorded all day when he was 16 when he was learning to play the guitar.

It was the second time he had been given a large sum of cash. After a man was beaten in Harlow, Essex, a man gave him 50 pounds and said, “That’s not what we want Harlow to represent.”

“It was something like that, but this time I didn’t have to be hit!

“I’m so grateful that this complete stranger gave me 100 pounds.

“He knew me for minutes, knew about my car problem for seconds, and then did that.”
