Two car accidents in Grangemouth leave a man in the hospital as emergency services rush to the scene

A man was hospitalized in Grangemouth after an accident.

At around 11:51 a.m. this morning, emergency services were called to Wood Street at the intersection of Newhouse Road.

A number of police officers and firefighters were seen present after the two cars collided.

However, it is not known how badly the person is injured.

A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were informed of reports of a two-road collision in traffic on Wood Street at the junction of Newhouse Road in Grangemouth at 11:51 am on Monday 24 May.

“The operational control immediately mobilized two devices to the scene.

“Firefighters removed a man from a vehicle and placed him in the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.

“The crews left the scene after making sure the area was safe.”
