The family of a young mother killed in a horror crash in Perthshire have paid tribute to a “confident, bubbly” daughter whose “smile lights up a room”.
We told how a blue Vauxhall Corsa crashed on Sunday afternoon on the A94 Coupar Angus-Forfar road near Ardler.
The 23-year-old passenger in the engine, who tragically passed away, was named Rebecca Sivyer from Perth.
The single mother was hailed as “very much loved” and “always happy” by her own mother.
Wendy Ghekis told the Evening Telegraph, “Rebecca was a very beloved daughter, sister and mother.

The blue Vauxhall Corsa that Rebecca was riding was heading east when it left the road at around 5:15 p.m. on Sunday.
The 29-year-old driver is currently being treated seriously injured at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.
The police asked witnesses to come forward.
Sergeant Ewan Pearce said: “Our thoughts right now are with the family and friends of the deceased.
“We are conducting an extensive investigation into the circumstances of this incident and are asking anyone with information to report.
“If you were in the area and witnessed the crash or have potential dashcam footage to aid our investigation, please call the police on 101 and report the August 22nd incident 2992.”
