A mother thanked strangers who came to her daughter’s aid after she cut her leg.
Jasmine McFadzean was outside a BP repair shop on Scarisbrick New Road, Southport with her friends and twin sister Jessica after school when the 12-year-old fell off a wall and cut her leg.
Her mother, Tracie Eatock, was amazed to learn that several people didn’t stop until a woman with her friend came over to help.

When the woman and her friend Jasmine were helping, her sister Jessica called her mother to tell her what had happened.
The ladies who stopped to help the girls were able to stop a passing ambulance. The ambulance stopped and the paramedics inspected the injured high school student.
They bandaged the leg before her father arrived to take her to the hospital for sewing.

The 36-year-old mother went to Facebook to thank the nice strangers.
She wrote, “I just want to say a big thank you to the ladies who stopped today to help my daughter. She fell off a wall in the BP workshop and severely cut her leg.
“After a few people looked past her and walked past her, some people stopped and got out of the car and waited with her and gave her and her sister a blanket since they were both in shock and then waited with them until my partner she could achieve.
“After a hospital stay, some gasoline and air, and a couple of stitches, she’s fine. I’m not sure who these lovely people are, but I really appreciate that you stick with her and try to keep her calm. “
Tracie thanked the women who helped her daughter after finding one of them on Facebook. About Kathryn Langford, the driver, she said to ECHO: “I just want to say thank you very much. Without the ladies who would have stopped my daughter would have been in a worse situation.”
