A Lanarkshire child was rushed to hospital after being hit by a car

A CHILD was admitted to hospital after being hit by a car on a Lanarkshire road.

The youngster was hit by a car on Stonefield Road in Blantyre today.

A child was hospitalized after being hit by a car on Stonefield Road in Blantyre

After the alarm was raised at 5:50 p.m., the rescue workers rushed to the scene of the accident.

A police spokesman for Scotland said the child was taken to hospital in an ambulance for treatment after being hit by a car.

The child’s condition is not yet known.

The Scottish Ambulance Service has been asked to comment.
